Excellent news about our Senior Harpist, Hannah Runting

I have some excellent news to share with you all about our senior harpist, Hannah Runting.
Hannah recently entered the North London Harp Competition, which is a national, harp only competition, the only one in the UK outside of Wales, and and learned earlier this month that she had been placed 2nd in a class of 31 competitors performing at a grade 7 to 8 standard.
Hannah’s message to me added –
“This is a very well recognised competition and I have been overwhelmed with joy to have placed so highly. Importantly I have also received plenty of very useful feedback from this competition, as well as a lot of praise too, which is lovely to read, especially during this time.
“I wish to thank you for all the opportunities MYMS has provided me with and the confidence it has given me to grow as a musician. I think it is important you are aware of just how valuable the circle of musicians MYMS is and how much I appreciate your work.”
I am attaching below the link of the blog post from the competition, and am also sending the recording she submitted… The blog link also has links to the first prize winning videos.
Hannah concluded by saying:   “I hope that hearing some “live” music is positive during this strange time!”
